Freestyle description:

I'm just a girl with a lot of questions trying to find the answers! I am very passionate about the things I believe in, but I am also a firm believer in exploring all sides to every issue. I think it's hard for a person to say they have conviction in something if they do not know it's other side..or maybe that's just my old debate team instincts kicking in! Either way, I try to be thorough with any issue, and try to be sure I really understand all its possible ramifications. I love to travel and observing other cultures in action-I think it helps you figure out where you stand in society when you understand other people's customs.

My Judaism is of huge importance to me,it's defines who I am, where I come from and where I'm going, and it always amazes me with its versatility and ability to translate into our daily lives. One of the biggest challenges (at least in my opinion) is walking that fine line tight rope between a "Jewish" life and a modern one, which I hope to discuss in this blog as best I can...I'm new at this, bare with me!!

Random Questions:

When you hesitate before hitting snooze on your alarm clock, are you being lazy?

Just thinking about hitting the snooze button isn't lazy at all. As a matter of fact, I think it's more active than automatically hitting it...those few extra seconds require quite some effort, that's pretty commendable.

For your birthday, your aunt gave you a maple syrup dispenser shaped like a rooster. Please write her a thank-you note.

Dear Aunty, I love waking up with a cockle doodle doo and some syrup from you..thanks!
